Phuket is the paradise island for holidays. Because of its tropical climate and warm temperature all of the year, climate in Phuket is a paradise climate for people from cold places like Alaska, Switzerland, Finland and many countries. If you stay at the beach, you will feel the wind from the ocean that will blow Phuket to your heart.
Phuket has two seasons, summer and rainy. Summer season is from December to April in every year. The temperature is about 27-36 Celsius Degree or 80.6-89.6 Fahrenheit Degree. This is high season for travel in Phuket. Because of its warm temperature and sunny all the time, Phuket climate in summer season is a first choice from European travelers, US travelers or Australian travelers that want to escape their winter season, sit and let the sun burn. Absolutely, the most favorite activity in this season is sunbath. Many people come to Phuket for sunbath. There are other activities like walk along the beach, play a banana boat, surfing and scuba driving.
In high season, Hotel, travel and shopping price are very expensive. And because of the good climate, Phuket in this season is very crowded.
In summer season also has many fun Thai events such as; Songkarn Festival that takes place in Phuket in April 13th. The Songkarn Festival is a Thai new year’s day. Many people will enjoy sparkling water to each others for reduces the hot weather in Phuket. There is a saling sport that will be held in December. It’s the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta.
Rainy season (Green season) is from May to November in every year. Because of monsoon, so there is usally rain in this season. Climate in Phuket in rainy season is not good. Some activities may not allow, because it can be dangerous.
The monsoon season in Phuket doesn’t mean it rains all the times or every day. Green season provides you a cheap accommodation and shopping. Furthermore, the tourist attractions are not crowded as high as summer season.
